Nowadays you see everyone with a Full Face Snorkel Mask. For a snorkeler who can’t snorkel without breathing through there nose it is a really good solution. But some of the Full Face Snorkel Masks are really dangerous and have some big cons. That is why we have made a top 3 full face snorkel mask alternatives.
Top 3 Full face Snorkel Mask Alternatives
#1 Tusa PowerView – Black Series Line
The number one is the Tusa PowerView. This is the best snorkel set i have used for a long time within consideration of the price range of $50 to $100. The silicone of the Tusa PowerView is really soft and comes really close to top
of the scuba maske range. The lenses are a little bit bigger then the number two and the lenses have a special ClearVU Coating from Tusa. The Clear VU Coating provides you better clarity, color and transmission of light. In the snorkel set you will find the snorkel which really looks like the Tusa Hyperdry Elite II(cost $39.95). The only difference is that the Hyperdry snorkel has a flexible pipe and the a different kind of purge. The drytop from both snorkels are exactly the same. The Tusa Powerview available with and without fins, i would suggest to get the set with fins!
Tusa PowerView Black Series on Amazon for $60.95
Tusa PowerView Black Series with Fins on Amazon for $72.95
Visio Tri-ex (for men) / Tusa Serene set (for ladies) – Black Series line
#2 Tusa
Again a Tusa, really? Yes again a Tusa, this time the Tusa Visio Tri-ex for men or the Tusa Serene Set for ladies also from the Black Series Line. You can buy this set with and without fins, i would suggest to get the snorkel set with fins. The silicone of the mask is really soft and after a 1,5 hour snorkel the mask still feels soft and comfortable on your face. The Tusa Serene and the Tusa Visio Tri-ex are designed with a single lens so you have optimal vision. In the snorkel set you will find the snorkel which really looks like the Tusa Hyperdry Elite II(cost $39.95). The only difference is that the Hyperdry snorkel has a flexible pipe and a different kind of purge. The drytop from both snorkels are exactly the same.
The Tusa Visio Tri-Ex (for men) on Amazon for $49.95
The Tusa Vsio Tri-Ex With Fins on Amazon for $79
The Tusa Serene (for ladies) on Amazon for $49.95
The Tusa Serene With Fins on Amazon for $67.95
#3 Mares Marlin
On the third spot we will find the Mares Marlin set. This snorkel set is a uni-sex set and you can buy it in different colors. Like the Tusa Viso Tri-ex you can buy this set with and without fins. I think the silicone of the mask is really soft but still the Tusa serene or the Visio Tri-ex is softer. In this set you find a semi-dry top snorkel, so when you dive underwater you’ll get water in your snorkel. When you look at the price the Mares Marlin is a little bit cheaper($10 a $15) then the number one and two of the 3 best full face snorkel mask alternatives
The Mares Marlin on Amazon for $29
Did we mis a snorkel set in the price range $0 to $100? Please leave a comment and maybe we will add it to our new list!

Thank you for not including Tribord masks on this list. I have been in touch with Tribord regarding the serious issues in the Tribord Easybreath full-face snorkel mask. Until Tribord make the necessary changes, please consider this mask dangerous. If they do not modify the design after they have been notified of its problems, it would be wise to consider all Tribord products unsafe.
Hi ED,
Can you notify us when you have a message from Tribord?
Thanks!
